What is Trainees inc.?

Trainees inc. is a trainer game set in a modern setting. You accept trainees, develop their stats, and can achieve different endings based on their stats and personality (which can be influenced).

What can be expected in 0.Alpha?

As its name suggests, 0.Alpha is just an alpha version of the game. You can achieve multiple endings through multiple events. You can 'change' the personality of your trainee, but it is noticeable that this is an alpha version.

Furthermore, you can see a complete roadmap of the upcoming version, which is already finished and waiting to be shipped. I will continue to be transparent about my future plans.

About the background of the story

The story takes place in the modern world after the "Big Fuse". Apparently, some kind of deity was bored and decided to fuse the real world with historical, public-domain fictional, and mythological characters. With big and influential people now meeting in this world, the future will surely be interesting.

About BlueSQR (in-game)

This game contains a character called BlueSQR. He is an in-game persona of myself, but he does not represent the developer. He observes the world we are looking at.

About myself

Since I have a full-time job and do this in my free time, I may not be able to produce content as fast as I would want to. And now, this guy hopes you can have at least a little bit of fun with this alpha version. :)

On a side note about generative AI

I want to mention one thing: Not every part of the code was written by AI. I use SugarCube, CSS, and JavaScript. Only JavaScript broke me (time investment and patience). In later stages of development, I used AI to write parts of it, approximately 35% of my JS code. For the rest, AI helped me with corrections and explanations.
